Federal Member for Bendigo Lisa Chesters is encouraging local schools to take advantage of new rebates to visit the nation’s capital in 2023.
New rebates for schools and available via the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER) program will make it more affordable for schools and students across the country to visit Canberra this year as part of their civics and citizenship education.

Bendigo has been named as one of the first Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics in Australia.
Bendigo Community Health Services will receive more than $700,000 over four years, towards support for hiring specialised staff, investment in equipment or fit outs, as well as resources, training, and development.

Federal Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters MP has announced close to $100,000 in funding for a local caravan park, to boost tourism in the Bendigo electorate.
The grant, administered under the Australian Government’s Caravan Parks Grant program have been awarded to BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park to the sum of $90,420.

Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters has rolled up her sleeve for her 5th COVID-19 vaccine at UFS Bendigo.
It follows the Australian Government accepting advice from the Australian Technical Advisor Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) that all adults who have not had a COVID-19 booster or a confirmed case in the past six months can now get another booster to give them additional protection against severe illness from COVID.
Bendigo Community-Led Roundtable To Inform Development Of National Early Years Strategy

Bendigo community groups, organisations and early years educators will gather today for a roundtable, hosted by Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters.
Representatives from a range of organisations including the City of Greater Bendigo’s Early Year’s team, Bendigo Health, Bendigo Toy Library, Sunshine Bendigo, BDAC, Loddon Mallee Multicultural Services and others will be involved.

It’s part of the Federal Labor Government’s move to support apprentices and address widespread skills shortages by expanding a list of priority occupations from 77 to 111.
