The Live Music Australia program is designed to bring more live music to Australian communities and funds applications that support quality original Australian live music that is professionally staged.
The funding will go towards supporting Summer Sessions at the Chateau, a new series of live music events at Chateau Dore which will boost the venue's capacity to showcase original music from local and touring artists.
The Albanese Labor Government believes music should be live and local and the Live Music Australia grants will help create more opportunities for local artists to perform.
