CHESTERS CONGRATULATES SANDHURST FNC ON NATIONAL SPORTS AWARD Main Image

Sandhurst Football Netball Club have been named National Runners Up in the Mental Health Category at the Alcohol and Drug Foundation’s Good Sports Awards.

Member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters has met with the club to congratulate them on their efforts ahead of attending the awards ceremony at Parliament House in Canberra this month.

“Sandhurst are one of the Bendigo region’s oldest and most successful clubs.

“They offer a range of programs to target mental health and wellbeing for all age groups at their club,” Chesters said.

“I’d like to congratulate Sandhurst FNC on the initiatives they have rolled out to support the mental health of their players.

“It’s fantastic to see they will be recognised at a federal level at the Good Sports Awards.”
