DROUGHT SUPPORT AVAILABLE FOR CENTRAL VICTORIAN FARMERS AND PRODUCERS
12/06/2025
The Future Drought Fund Communities Program has been extended for another four years, with 2.8 million to the Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS), giving farmers and small related businesses access to more free and independent financial counselling support. This includes 2 million to be distributed to high-demand areas.
These commitments build on the Albanese Labor Government's $1 billion rural support and drought resilience package which has helped farmers to prepare, adapt and respond to drought.
You can find more information on the current round (2022-25) of the Communities Program here.
